NARFE is working with providers of the Federal Employees Healthcare Benefits (FEHB) to help answer retiree's questions.

.

As we know, every year the Office of Personnel Management has an "Open Season" for Federal retirees and employees.  This allows the retiree to select the best plan for our individual needs, remaining with the plan we currently have, or changing health care plans.

.

Many of the local and national providers participate in the various agency "Health Fairs" at the begining of the open season.  In order to allow the federal retirees access to this service, some NARFE chapters have made arrangements with these providers to provide a Health Fair for the reitrees to attend.

.

Bremerton Chapter 181 and Olympic Peninsula Chapter 1006 have Health Fairs prior to their November General Meetings, at the regular meeting locations.

.

If you have questions of these providers, or are looking to educate yourself on what is available, please take advantage of this opportunity.  These are informational sessions only.  Changes to your FEHB election must be made before the conclusion of the Open Season by you on the appropriate form and submitted to OPM.  If you need help with the form, you may contact the Service Officer for assistance.
